At the dinner table, boredom settles, or maybe you long for somewhere else. In these quiet pauses, daydream might slip in – random thoughts, fragments of stories, even strange creatures appear at the edges of one’s gaze. They vanish as fast as they came. To my distant friends invokes glitches, mythological figures, deformations and daydreaming elements, merging personal and collective memories.

_{To my distant friends was commissioned for Dinner is served, exhibited at the Rotterdam Design Biennale (2025).}
